You mentioned Faure - one of my favorites too. I can *almost* play his Berceuse and a couple of his flute duets.

When Napster was free I collected all the Herb Alpert I could find, and felt perfectly self-righteous about it - I own all the old LPs but can't play them.

The Killer B's - Beethoven, Bach, Brahms. It's soul music to me.

Lots more, but that's the top of my list.
