FAA issues final ruling on FAR 101 NPRM

WASHINGTON, District of Columbia USA — The Federal Aviation Administration has released their Final Rule on NPRM FAA-2007-27390, which has been submitted for publication in the Federal Register. The Final Rule will become effective 90 days after publication, taking effect around February 2, 2009.

ELKHART, Indiana USA — Hobby rocketry icon Robert Robby Robinson, owner of the legendary Robby's Rockets and manufacturer of a long line of igniters, ejection charges and recovery supplies, has died following a year-long battle with cancer. Robinson was a friend to the hobby and will be missed.

About Me:
I started flying estes rockets in 1975 when my science teacher introduced us to model rocketry. I was a BAR in 2000. I would fly Estes rockets with my 2 daugters. When my sone was old enough to take interest then we started looking for some bigger rockets. My first high power launch was in November 2006. I got to see Walt Stafford's P motor. Hook, line, sinker I was in. Flew my first G motor the next month and got my Level I the next and Level II the next.

I own a video production company and love to do Live Productions.
I love to ride my road bike and I am training for a Ironman in August of 08. I would love to do a 4am reuion tour. 4am is a rock that I played with from mid 80's to 92. I was the drummer.

I believed that you taped for late Sunday, I flew an orange and silver 4" rocket on a grey smokey reload. I believe that Bob shot some nice photos as well.

As for the videos being posted, I not seen any for the September launch yet...last I heard, Clark was still converting them to wmv format.
