I've been going to their field since 1998, but haven't found the time to actually go to this event due to work & other happenings...
I did fly one rocket & complete two goals of mine; to attain 2 mile high flight & to exceed the speed of sound. I did so with my Comp4 ( Performance Rocketry Competitor 4). It took me a little long than normal to put it together due to nerves & a liner issue. The flight was perfect & I was able to track it to just past apogee with the smoke grain I installed. I used a personal alarm to aid in finding it & it paid off in that I was able to find it in under an hour.
I had to drive around to the other side of the field via local road & walked out into the field about 100 yards or so,
Here are some pictures of the flight.

The first one: is a 5" Performance Rocketry Intimidator. I"m just about finished with it, just have to glue in last 2 aft centering ring along with the nose cone bulkhead.
The second rocket: is a 4" scratch rocket made from PML pre-glassed tubes & CR's , fins I cut myself. The rocket will stand 7ft 8" tall with a 75mm motor mount , topped off with a conical nose cone from PR.
Rockets three & four: are both 4" rockets based on cardboard tubing with each having four 1/4" plywood fins, one will stand 36" tall with a 38mm designed for the G 339 Warp 9 AT reloads.
The final rocket will sport a 54mm motor mount, the entire booster will be cover in 6 oz. fiberglass cloth.
I'm trying to have all 4 done about the same time so I can prime & paint all of them at once. I don't really like painting them anymore, but helps withstand the elements .
It's Dual Deployment out of a single opening; Using the Tether TM from Defy Gravity. It's flown 4 times already, just taking some time to resize & upload the pictures. I'm currently working on reconfiguring it with a longer & tighter fitting coupler.
Nice Pictures of the bruiser , I am going to turn mine int a L3 project by putting a M motor mount into it.
I like your set up for the EBay What electronics are you using? Is it going to be a single or dual deploy?
Nice job
