Hi Jerry:
It's been a long time since we communicated. Let's set the record straight. I made all the plugs for the 3" nosecones, the 6" rounded tip ogive nosecone, the 6" hemispherical nosecone. You sent me a 6" Big Bertha nosecone plug which I made the mold of and sent the plug back to you. I have all the original plugs of all my nosecones that I made that are not owned by you. You have never offered to buy supplies for me which by the way is not true, and I don't need your help. I am not just a model rocket manufacturer, I am a professional mold maker, and I do fiberglass repair on boats and RVs. I hope by the time I write this my website is up and running.
Respectfully,
Chris Scott

It's a very long story. Short version, Along with handful of others, Jerry Irvine is responsible for laying the groundwork of high power rocketry as we enjoy it today. However, along the way he has made more enemies, generated more controversy than any other rocketeer in history, and even today, remains the guy people love to hate. I'm neutral: I remember the good stuff he did in the early days and was out of the hobby later on when he alienated so many.
